My name is Ron Romero, in 1987 I was involved in an accident that was life changing. I became a quadriplegic. After my accident, there weren’t many opportunities for quadriplegics to participate in group sports. When I found about the Milwaukee Iron Quad Rugby I became immediately involved with the top-notch players that helped influence me, positively as an athlete.
I am now proud to say that, because of the Milwaukee Iron, I am able to positively influence other people who have injuries similar to myself in hopes to encourage them to participate in quad rugby.
